The year registration letter can be from L onwards.

Data plates attached under the bonnet on the bulkhead or on the glove
locker

No overriders on front bumpers and possibly holes on valance where
badges were fitted. Also holes in rear doors where badges used to
be.

Radiator grille and road wheels painted in body colour.

Low compression engine. This,together with the clutch and gearbox
is sometimes painted duck egg blue having been overhauled. There may
also be a REME Workshop plate attached.

Ex BAOR vehicles sometimes had rectangular reflectors under the rear
bumpers.

Moulded rubber mat on floor instead of carpet. Also no floor covering
or side trim panels in boot.

Plain door panels and no armrests on rear passenger side trim.

Evidence of modifications to front seats and controls (DHSS disabled)

Fire extinguisher holder (usually front nearside scuttle).
